☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆

As always Meg Collett’s stories are awesome. This story is mostly told by Sunny and at times the others. This book really broke my heart, the way Luke and Ollie were to each other. How distant they were to each other, pained me. But I loved how close Sunny and Hatter were, I want more of those two. Sunny and Hatter keep Ollie and Luke going, without them they would be lost. Hatter is so much more than we see, he is so mysterious I hope we find out more about him in the next book.

New monster Manananggal was introduced and she’s as scary as I’ve heard when I was little. Meg Collett described her as I pictured, that is not a monster I would ever want to see in real life. She is a vampire-witch sucking monster and I loved how strong Ollie was with her, she was fearless no matter how in pain she was. This story again is full of adventure, but with more backstory of Ollie’s family. Can’t really say too much without ruining the story itself. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series, hope to see a big reconciliation better Ollie and Luke, love those two.

☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆

Girl from Jussara is a short and quick prequel to Werelock Evolution. It is very engaging and sexy. We get to see both the side of sexy men Kai and Alcaeus as they fight their attraction for the young girl Lupe. Lupe was just a scared pregnant girl who wants to be taken care of. She never expected to have the love and protection of not one, but two men. As she finds her self and place in her future pack, she is left confused and scared at times. But with the help of both Kai and Alcaeus she finds the woman that she was meant to be.

This story is really short and I was left with wanting more. I wanted more Kai and Alcaeus, I sure hope they find their own story and love in the future.

Elle Kennedy has truly cemented herself as a must read author. Kennedy has flawlessly and sophisticatedly written a story that captures the very essence of why I continue to be addicted to her writing and storytelling. And in her latest installment to the Outlaws Series, Ms. Kennedy will once again get her readers Addicted.

The friends to lovers trope is by far one of my favorite tropes. I am a complete sucker when it comes to this theme. While there are so many books out there in the market that deals with this trope, Ms. Kennedy does something differently as shakes up this trope by incorporating a different dilemma and setting for the story line.

In this second installment, readers are introduced to Lennox and his childhood best friend, Jamie. There is no Lennox without Jamie and the same can be said for Jamie as well. But as far best friends go, deep feelings begins to emerge. Feelings of something more. When the lines of friendship begins to get blurred by want, desire, lust, and jealousy, Lennox and Jamie soon finds themselves crossing that line as the sexual tension begins to ignite and stir feelings. Set in a dystopian world, Lennox and Jamie are fighting for survival but will they also be fighting matters of the heart?

#Addicted_ElleKennedy

Elle Kennedy has masterfully painted a literary world where raw emotions, characters, and the idea of survival is in the forefront. Readers will be consumed as you are swept away in a dystopian world, where the strong survives and survival is key. Although Lennox and Jamie must be strong, tough, and resilient in order to survive, Elle Kennedy does something differently as she slowly peels layers of their rough edges and slowly we see these soft emotions begin to peek through. As far as chemistry, Elle Kennedy does scorching hot scenes like no other. With her vivid and descriptive prose, readers will simply be addicted. So if you are looking for a book where grit, raw emotions, angst, passion, and action are seductively weaved into a story line then I would highly recommend you to get addicted to ADDICTED.
