Feather is one my new favorite fantasy romance, it reminded me a bit of Romeo and Juliet. I started out reading this book just expecting another fantasy romance I would love from Author Olivia Wildenstein, but I got more than that. Leigh and Jarod story is beautiful and made me feel so much. It’s been a while since a book made me feel like my heart’s going to jump out of my body. Their love story made me feel so much emotion, I can’t even put everything I feel into words. So I will just say I love it so much and I recommend all fantasy lovers out there to read it.

I love Leigh’s character, she was strong, sweet, simple and had so much love for everyone and wants to save them all. Even for a guy like Jarod everyone deemed irredeemable, Leigh wouldn’t give up. Their story started out with Jarod just being curious, but I knew from the beginning of their meeting that Leigh had made him feel things. No matter how much he tried for her to hate him, she couldn’t. She couldn’t accept and believe that a human can’t be saved, in her mind everyone can be saved and she did everything and anything to save Jarod.

Their love blossomed for nothing to everything. They were so sweet that I wanted to reach out to them and hug them both. I wanted to cry anytime a talk of being apart was mentioned. I couldn’t stomach them ever being apart, after finding out how beautiful there were together. Author Olivia Wildenstein, really know how to pull at readers heartstrings. The ending was unexpected and it wasn’t at all what I wanted, but I wasn’t angry. I understood why it ended the way it did, but my heart was broken for them both. A tragic love story that was still as beautiful as they were when they left the world. I cannot wait for the next book of this series. I highly recommend this fantasy romance.

I enjoyed Born of Nothing, even without reading the last 3 books. This volume focuses on Cat and Fen. Cat and Fen met through Rebecca, who was trained by Fen. Fen a man who was exiled into darkness alone. Rebecca the person that she is, wanted to help Fen out of the loneliness and she did. With the help of Cat, they helped Fen get to know the human world as it is today. By visiting him with goodies every week with friendship on the side. Fen and Cat fell for each other after a few visits and couldn’t get enough of each other. Their romance was cut short by Cat’s prejudice mom, who wanted to fix Cat for being friends with the Rebecca a Fae. Cat was kidnapped with her mother’s blessings because of her ignorance to the hatred that her friend Glen had for the Fae, Hate that was so much more than her own mother’s hate.

Cat’s torture was mentally brutal and degrading, Poor girl suffered so much for her mom’s hate. This book has a lot of things that is exactly going on in the real world. From Prejudice, ignorance, hate, kidnapping and torture. Even though it was a fantasy romance, it reminded me so much of what’s going on in our world. How much hate can hurt others and the ones you love. I love how Author Jill Ramsower created this fantasy world, while putting out the real problem of our world. Like Cat, I hope one day everyone would just find a way to get along and let go of all the hate.

The Beast's HeartThe Beast's Heart by Leife Shallcross

I really enjoyed The Beast’s Heart. It was a slow moving story, but the story is really beautiful. The only similarity of this story to Beauty and Beast is, exactly as the title says. There is beauty and the beast that was cursed. For this story to be told, the reader needs patience, because of the pacing of the story. The story is told in a very slow way and patience is given, you will reap the reward of finding how beautiful this simple story is.

Isabeau is the heroine of this story. She is young, beautiful, giving and so loving. She is the person who never looked at beast any less than he hoped he was, she saw him only in the light that Beast had given her. A giving, good, loving and lonely man. Their time together was simple, but so precious. The most important things in life are the smallest and simplest thing. With Isabeau and Beast, it was all the time they spent together. Isabeau’s music, their walks and Beast’s reading time. I love how Isabeau felt so much for the beast for just being the caring man that she saw he was, past the beast. The way they fell in love was slow and worth the wait.

This may be a simple story and YA, but it truly is beautiful. I’m so glad I read it.

Silver Hollow was a bit of like being in a world like Alice in Wonderland. Amie has this real world, then her alternate universe that will keep readers on their toes. I Love the story and the worlds, but I did get confused at times. Once I felt like I had the world all figured out, something else happens and I’m confused. Amie/Jessie had been living in different worlds and different lifetimes that will keep readers searching and reaching for the truth and what exactly is going on. I really enjoyed reading Amie’s lives with her love Emry and I’m heartbroken for the way their love ended.

I cannot was to read book 2, as I am really curious on where Amie’s story will lead her. I am hoping for a really beautiful reunion between her and her love, that she truly deserves to have.

I just wanted to say that I have been waiting years for the series conclusion and I am super excited to finally get my hands on Blaine.. I mean Hope’s Defeat. Sure years of waiting made me restless, but it surely was worth the wait.

Blaine and Trinity’s love is so strong that nothing could keep them apart, not even Cronus. I love how strong Trinity is, not even Cronus could keep her snark away. And Blaine, boy do I love the man. He is one of the strongest and his love for Trinity is so strong, that he would do anything for her..even die to save her.

I just have to say that the Cave scene was super hot and sweet, without being too descriptive. I waited years to have that scene and I loved it. It was what Blaine and Trinity’s love was made of.

I waited years for an epic ending of Trinity and Blaine’s love story, but I was left a little disappointed with a very short Epilogue. I am happy for the happy ending, but I feel like Trinity and Blaine deserves more than a short reunion. It felt more like a beginning of another story than an ending. Even with my little disappointment, I still loved it and still a good ending to this awesome series.

The Prince was a fast and great read. I enjoyed the novella, even without reading the series. Even as a novella, it still gave enough background and story to both characters Brighton and the Prince. They connection was undeniable and whenever they let themselves go, we get to see how hot they were together. I can’t forget the part they played when Brighton was on Prince’s lap, how the little things they did while covering who she was so hot. The touches, the four plays, it kept me wanting more. Brighton and the Prince belonged together even if being together isn’t a good idea. This book left me a little lost and the want for more Brighton and the Prince. Loved it.

Secret Heir is so much more than I expected. I wanted to take a little break from contemporary romance and that’s when Dynasty book 1 practically fell into my lap and I’m so glad it did. As a debut Author, M.J. Prince has a lot going for her, as a paranormal/fantasy lover, this story is really captivating and a new favorite of mine.

The story of these two characters connecting is amazing. Sure Ralph wasn’t always the nicest guy, but he already gave me the feeling in the beginning that he had a story to tell and he sure did. Ralph may be who everyone wants to be and someone who seemed like he had a perfect life, but everything is not always as it seemed. Ralph has so much complications in his life that stopped him from being the man he really wanted to be. But when Jasmine came along, she was the change that he needed. I love Jasmine. She is one strong heroine, who is full of hope and life no matter what she went through. Even though she had a complicated life, she still pushed through everything like nothing could deter her. These two characters made me feel so much. They tugged at my heart strings over and over. I wanted them to be together so bad, they really deserved to be together. I hated everything that got in their way, I wanted to claw everyone’s eyes out that treated the idea of them together like garbage. When really Ralph and Jasmine together was a match that would be so explosively good if really given the chance. Ralph and Jasmine were sexy together, with their touches and their four plays. I enjoyed reading of their sleepovers and their connection. Sex didn’t make what they were special, it was how deeply they felt for each other. I could read about these two for hours, I couldn’t get enough.

When I got to the ending wow, it completely broke my heart. The ending was so unexpected or least it was something I was hoping that would never be. I wanted to cry for Jasmine, the girl could never get a break. I wanted the happiness she deserved so bad. The ending really gutted me. I hope she gets something better and a bit happier for book 2. Nonetheless this was some great writing and story. Can’t wait for book 2.

☆☆☆☆ 3.5 STARS ☆☆☆☆

I love the world that Author Cassandra Fear created, it will let readers imagination run wild. So many interesting characters in the book, I wanted to get to know more. Jovi was a strong young lady, who was very innocent and ignorant about her world and her life. She was brave, that she would do anything to keep her family and kingdom safe. When she started to have feelings for Cappa, I couldn’t wait for them to dig into their feelings. Their feelings for each other was strong and young, but we as readers only get a little piece of it.

Jovi was young and at times it showed in her actions on how clueless she was about life. She seemed to give her heart away so easily and it made me really wonder if she ever really loves the men in her life. Is it Cappa she loves or is it Malador? I guess will never know until the next book, as this first book of the series leaves readers with a cliffhanger.

Enchant is magically beautiful and will cast a spell on any reader. Mara and Theo’s story is complicated, but yet enchanting. I love the world that Author Micalea Smeltzer had created. She really shot an arrow through my heart, by creating this beautiful fantasy story that I love so much.

Mara lived a normal life as human for many years, until her almost 18th birthday gotten in the way. Her beautiful savior Theo found her and saved her from death. Their friendship started out fast and strong. Theo is cocky, smart Alec and a quiet a talker, while Mara is simple and just wanted a simple life. Her innocence and her wanting to do the right thing made me love her character. Her love for Theo kept me glued to the story and Theo’s declaration of love is what kept me oh so happy.

I am so heartbroken by the way this book has ended, wow what a cliffhanger it is. I cannot wait for book 2, I’m hoping the wait isn’t too long.

Amazing!!! I think that pretty much how I feel about this book and series. K.A. Linde has completely blown me away with Consort as she took fantasy, suspense, and loyalty to a whole new level. She has made me a fan of the fantasy genre, a genre that I hardly read. Since Consort picks up from Bound, it is highly recommended you start this series in order since it can’t be read as a standalone. With that out of the way, I don’t want to spoil anything for the readers but I must say Cyrene made this book. She took you on a journey where you were bombarded with so much raw emotions and test that you can’t help but be in awe of her strong character. As always, if you are a fan of a series where you can get lost in and experience a journey of magic, loyalty, and friendships then this series is a MUST READ!!!
