☆☆☆☆☆ 3.5 ☆☆☆☆☆

A coming of age story about a girl named Laila finding her place in the world, a world that won’t accept her. But with the help of her 4 best friends Cole, Haden, Braxton and Cole she finds herself and her surroundings as good as it could be.

Laila met her best friends when she was only 5 years old. When she first moved into the neighborhood, she was welcomed into the group on that same day while playing. They became fast friends, but she stayed especially close to Joey. All 5 of them were inseparable from that day on.

Then fast forward to High School..
Laila became the center of rumors and jokes, a slut was what she was called the most. Being friends with four gorgeous guys, made girls jealous of her, which were how rumors got started. But Laila was strong and had no problem putting anyone in their place. When she feels the need to say what she wants, she does it with no fear. And what’s great is that the guys always had her back no matter what.

Yes this story was a little slow and very clean, but I enjoyed reading the interactions between the group of friends. I would’ve love having friends like the boys. They were the best and they cared for Laila and each other always.

The story was going great until the end. Laila had somewhat got her happy ending, but she also had to go through a tragedy. A tragedy that was useless in my opinion. It’s one of those where you stop and ask yourself “WTF just happened?” That was not needed. The ending almost brought me to tears, but I was more mad with the way it ended, that the tears didn’t come.

So my question to the author is, WHY? Why did you do it. I loved him.

That kind of ending didn’t have to happen for Laila to find herself, she already did that. With the help of her friends Laila found herself a long time ago.

So again Why? I am heartbroken.

#DirtyRush

Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell is f**king funny as hell and cute! From the first to the last page, I could not put this book down. Simply, this book brought back memories of rushing, sorority life, college parties, frat boys and those mean girls. Yes, this book was like a walk down memory lane of college and Greek life. Dirty Rush was entertaining as hell, witty, humorous, and eye-opening on the life of Taylor Bell as she was dirty rushed into Beta Zeta. Taylor soon learns that behind closed doors, the BZ life is not so glam and perfect. Sex scandals, drugs, and rumors soon comes crashing down on Taylor Bell’s life. Can she prove her innocence and clear up her name? #Sex #Scandal #DirtyRush #Cute #FuckingFunny #Sisterhood

Dirty Rush is a must read!!! I absolutely loved this book. It was fast paced and had dialogues that were witty, fun, and smart. Basically this book tells you how it is. There is no prim and proper way to put it, Taylor Bell was dirty rushed and this book chronicles her tale as a Beta Zeta from parties, rushing, drugs, sex, alcohol, and sisterhood. Trust me, you will definitely find yourself saying “OMG. Did that really happen? WOW. And of course, that’s cute. “
