Laila met her best friends when she was only 5 years old. When she first moved into the neighborhood, she was welcomed into the group on that same day while playing. They became fast friends, but she stayed especially close to Joey. All 5 of them were inseparable from that day on.
Then fast forward to High School..
Laila became the center of rumors and jokes, a slut was what she was called the most. Being friends with four gorgeous guys, made girls jealous of her, which were how rumors got started. But Laila was strong and had no problem putting anyone in their place. When she feels the need to say what she wants, she does it with no fear. And what’s great is that the guys always had her back no matter what.
The story was going great until the end. Laila had somewhat got her happy ending, but she also had to go through a tragedy. A tragedy that was useless in my opinion. It’s one of those where you stop and ask yourself “WTF just happened?” That was not needed. The ending almost brought me to tears, but I was more mad with the way it ended, that the tears didn’t come.
So my question to the author is, WHY? Why did you do it. I loved him.
That kind of ending didn’t have to happen for Laila to find herself, she already did that. With the help of her friends Laila found herself a long time ago.
So again Why? I am heartbroken.
