Calling all Outlander fans...KC Dyer has written a witty, smart, fresh, modern and adventurous spin on this beloved book. Right off the opening pages, I was hooked and mesmerized as Ms. Dyer took her readers on a journey of self-discovery, romance, and new beginnings.

#FindIngFraser

In this fresh and quirky novel, Dyer allows her readers to go on crazy adventure to Scotland of course as a young woman retraces the steps of Jamie Fraser and Claire. In her search, Emma journeys her adventure through her blog post. What started off with zero followers soon began to gain a following as Emma recounts her awkward, embarrassing, low points and memorable moments in finding her own Fraser. In such a quest, we can all make assumptions and think that Emma is crazy to do such a thing and travel with a limited budget with this crazy notion of chasing a fictional boyfriend, but in the end readers can learn a valuable lesson. Maybe it’s not just finding our own Fraser but finding ourselves in the process.

So if you are looking for a story that incorporates humor, wit, love, friendship, adventure and self-discovery, then I would definitely recommend you to give this fresh book a try. It definitely was a new fresh spin on Eat, Pray, Love but with a Scottish twist. Finding Fraser will awaken you that life is our own very Scottish Highland. The journey is not easy feat but if you fight through the elements, believe in yourself, then just maybe you might find your own Fraser and your inner Claire.

Echoes of Mercy is full of mystery and suspense. Kim Boykin brings us the story about family, corruption and the bone chilling baby market we never thought could exist. As Billie the main character of the story goes through her life as a cop, a mother, a daughter, she finds herself helping the biggest mystery of the century, to uncover a murder with the help of the town’s Crazy Sadie. As Billie undercover the truth about the most trusted people in town, she is also put in the line of fire with her own family.

Kim Boykin had a way with her writing that sucks you into a world she created. This is not my usual read, most books I read has at least half of romance in the story. This story is all about the mystery that the characters unraveling and family. I love how strong Billie is, a respectable cop that would do anything to protect her family. Of course for a town looney Ms Said wasn’t bad herself. If anyone would take the time to listen to Sadie’s story, they would understand that she isn’t crazy at all. She was just a woman once a upon a time, who got with a bad man and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I do wish there was more of the romance between Billie and Cole, I would have loved to see more of those two lovebirds that we didn’t get nearly enough of.

Anyone who is into mystery and suspense, this is the book for you. This book will definitely put you in a loop.

A mother’s advice is beyond the greatest gift that can be bestowed to a child. It is honest. Raw. And most importantly, it’s comes from the heart. And in this beautiful book by Nina Tassler, she has gathered a collection of essays/entries from successful women around the world. Each entry is a recollection of a pinnacle moment shared between a mother and daughter and what lessons, hopes, and dreams that they wished their daughter to achieve.

In this inspiring collections of essays from celebrities, reporters, singers, athletes, politicians to everyday working mothers, Ms. Tassler has made a statement of empowerment, beauty, and love. A mother’s love is something that can’t be explained. It is a love that captures every essence of hope, dreams, and truth. This book is uplifting and unapologetically beautiful as each entry, readers can feel the love radiating through the pages. Though each mother may have different wishes for their daughter, but each essay is meant to navigate their daughter to the right path that was meant for them.

I love reading a book that is honest, raw, and inspiring. And reading this book made me a little sentimental as it made me recall memories from my mom. Each lesson, message, and words written in this book was out of pure love. This book sent a powerful message that regardless if you are a celebrity or not, we are a gender that needs to encourage one another and be supportive. So if you are looking for a book that inspires, teaches, and encourages young women that nothing is impossible, dreams are meant to be fulfilled and with hard work and dedication, the future is endless then I would highly recommend you to read What I Told My Daughter: Lessons from Leaders on Raising the Next Generation of Empowered Women.
