The story is told in alternating points of view, both past and present between Nate and Olivia, so we understand what their feelings and emotions are, first hand. Olivia was raised in a household of wealth, being the daughter of a woman who is very ill, she will risk her heart just to be able to keep her mother alive. She and Nate have dated for a few years but and her family her only family has become his as well. Nate is left heart broken by Olivia and is still trying to deal with the aftershocks Without so much as outside influences and miscommunications, both of them are pulled apart and go their separate ways. As the months go by, Nate struggles with trying to mend the pain that Olivia has caused him, Olivia suffers just the same. Time and distance do not matter if the connection is undeniable.
The Sexiest Man Alive was a little cheesy for my taste. I expected a better romance but the plot was pretty good. And just to warn the readers that this ends with a cliffhanger. I would like to know what happens with Nate and Olivia, next.
