Christina Lee and Nyrae Dawn have teamed up to deliver a touching, heartfelt story that was brimming with so much raw emotions, hope and healing. Touch the Sky is a story that douses readers to FEEL the vulnerability, sadness, love, truth and passion.
Touch the Sky is a m/m genre trope but this book was so much more than your standard romance. The biggest magnetic pull for me was how Ms. Lee and Ms. Dawn were able to tackle the sensitive subject of mental health with such grace by allowing readers to see beyond the flaws and imperfection. Together Lucas and Gabe complimented one another as they embarked on a journey from friends to lovers. Though this book did not give the happily ever after ending but it did give you the happily for now which I think was fitting for these two. It allowed readers like myself to believe in the power of hope and healing. Nothing in life is easy or an instant fix and so Ms. Lee and Ms. Dawn captured this sentiment beautifully. So if you are looking for a thought provoking romance that tackles a sensitive subject with raw honesty and love then I urge you to read Touch the Sky.
