If you ever read a book from River Savage then you are fully aware that this author takes her readers on a whirlwind of raw emotions and surprises. And in her newest release to the Knight's Rebel's MC Series, Ms. Savage holds her readers hostage as she consumes us with raw emotions, grittiness, intensity, and passion. Infatuation was so much more than your typical MC romance of a good girl meets bad boy biker. This book sends a powerful message that no one is truly broken and life is full of second chances.

Infatuation centers on the story of Beau McIntyre and Mackenzie Moore. Ms. Savage introduces her readers to a broken, beaten Mackenzie Moore. A woman who has first hand experienced physical abuse from her husband. A woman who lived the tale of what it means to escape from a monster and be a survivor. Mackenzie Moore is a resilient woman, who just needed time to really see how strong, beautiful, and tough she is. And the only person who was able to transcend and help bring out this side to Mackenzie was Beau McIntyre.
"I'm consumed by everything he gives me. Everything he takes from me."
When Beau first rescued and helped Mackenzie, he never thought he would see her again. But eighteen months later, she shows up at his MC clubhouse asking for help and protection. There was something about Kenzie that instantly gravitated him to help her. There was this strong sexual, emotional, and physical connection that was buzzing through the air whenever they were around each other. As Kenzie and Beau continued to spend more time with each other, they soon found themselves crossing that invisible line and they knew once that they crossed that line, there was no going back. Kenzie is well aware of Beau's need for control and submission, can Kenzie submit and let go knowing that she was abused by her husband? Can Beau heal the shattered pieces of Kenzie and show her that she is not broken?
"The truth is I do. I love the way he is. Love the way he speaks, the way he treats me. I love it all and yeah it scares me. Oh, God, does it scare me."
As always, River Savage did another phenomenal job writing Infatuation. It was an emotionally raw book that evoked a wide range of emotions. Infatuation was brimming with grit, passion, grief, loss, hurt, pain, love, and second chances. I loved that Ms. Savage continues to blend and integrate layers of suspense, romance, and raw vulnerabilities. The story of Beau and Kenzie is a reminder that love has the power to shine in our darkest and weakest moments. The strongest light is the light that shines within you.... and for Mackenzie Moore, it lead her way to Beau. Although this book exposes all facets of love and second chances, I loved that Ms. Savage raises awareness on domestic violence. River did an amazing job showcasing that LOVE HEALS and that starting over is a gift that we should not waste. So if you are looking book that reminds us all no matter how much you may think you are broken, you can always build yourself back up and start over again. It's never too late to start over; never too late to love, and never too late to be happy.
P.S.~ River Savage please tell me the next book is Brooke and Kelly because I seriously can't wait for their story. This couple's story gripped and tore my heart. Please don't keep your readers waiting long.
