Gripped was sexy and entertaining. Dane was sex on the stick, a usual one night stand kinda guy. At first I wasn’t sure about Dane, but he won me over very quickly. He may have been a manwhore, but after meeting Beverly his whole look in life changed. He was sweet, he was hot and he was dirty.

I love that we get a dual POV in the book, getting to know not only Beverly and who she was and who she had become. Of course I truly enjoyed Dane’s POV. Getting to know Dane and the changes he made to be with Beverly. I really love getting into Dane’s mind, to know what he really feels about Beverly and his love of golf.

I wasn’t able to read book 1 of the Prescott Series, but I didn’t feel lost. Author Joanne gave enough background for each character, that the feel of the book just flowed well.

Fly is a story of friendship and more. This was a quick read, that will suck you in

Colton and Taylor’s friendship was sweet and everything any person would love. They been through a lot together and they know each other inside and out, but when one night of confession and hot sex happened, their friendship changed everything they worked so hard on keeping. While Taylor tries to find herself, Colton works hard to make Taylor see that they belong together. Will Taylor ever forgive Colton for what he decided to do? Or will they not only lose their love for each other, but their lifelong friendship? Read and find out.

 photo Fly-Teaser.jpg

Taylor and Colton’s connection is off the charts, they are truly two people that know each other and live through life without each other. This first book, is completely about them finding themselves and each other in love. I was left in shock when the story ended in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to read book 2 to get more of this hot couple.

False Start is about getting that second chance that not everyone who is fortunate enough to experience it with their better half. When you love someone you should fight to save the relationship and not walk away. Walking away does not solve anything and it could very well lead to dissatisfied assumptions, resulting animosity through one another. It’s a lesson to be learned and what comes with being with being emotionally involved. When problems arise, couples should solve it together not separately.

 photo FALSE START_zpsdquh9lgq.jpg

Jax and Liv... where do I even begin? Their chemistry was instant and it’s something they held on to for as long as they can. They built a family of their own, but under a few circumstances, Jax has to take the issues into his own hands. I won’t spoil the reason why or what happened exactly because I want you to experience it the way I did. Jax is the captain / quarterback for the Mavericks Team, means he’s committed himself to the team and that he’ll have some away games and not always granted to be around his loved ones. Liv is madly in love with Jax, but due to his profession, she struggled with him being in the spotlight constantly; camera’s everywhere, watching his every move. And to make matters worse, Jax’s ex-girlfriend, Vanessa, is out for blood. Her only mission is to ruin the relationship she thinks she deserves with Jax. False Start is a mess that could’ve been prevented if communication was granted in the relationship.

Read the story between the hot quarterback and the smoking party planner, it's one interesting and overwhelming romance you won’t want to pass up on.

☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆

False Start was a fast pace romance that pulls your heart in very quickly. It is a second chance romance that will pull you all over the place, but still loving the characters.

Alivia Monaghan had it all, the sweetest football star husband that had the body and looks to die for. Two beautiful girls and a successful business. Everything was great with their fairytale life, until it wasn’t. The person she loves and trusted the most, broke her heart with no explanation. The explanation never came until almost a year later. While Jax works hard at earning her trust again and for forgiveness, she worked hard at pushing him away. Will Jax ever win Alivia’s heart again? Will she ever forgive him for what he did? Or will they end up apart? Read and find out.

This is a a story of love, lost and second chances. No matter how much Jax actions could have been unforgivable, I loved Jax. He was sweet, caring and kind. His actions had reasons, no matter how much I don’t agree with it I completely understood Jax. I enjoyed the heat and sexual tension between Jax and Alivia, they completely pulled me in. Then there’s there twins, those two were too cute. The family was too cute together.

Haleigh Lovell delivers a fun, quirky, sexy and interesting spin on a New Adult Sports Romance in The Slam. This book is the second book of the author and I applaud the author for tackling and presenting a different type of heroine. Ms. Lovell presents readers a heroine who has Asperger’s Syndrome. I love that Haleigh allowed readers to see that despite the heroine’s disorder, she is much a powerhouse that deserves to be in the spotlight.

Ender Hemsworth is the big man on campus and so when their grandmother took guardianship of Adelaide, she decided that Adelaide should live with Ender so he can look after her. The buck tooth girl that Ender remember from his childhood is not the same Adelaide and so it catches him off guard on how gorgeous and stunning she is. As Ender and Adelaide begin to develop their friendship, they soon find themselves crossing over that line. So can this tennis god hit a grand slam and win the heart of Adelaide as she adjust to her new environment?

I enjoyed reading The Slam. It was sexy, funny, quirky, and refreshing. As much as I did enjoy this book, I did find some things in the book repetitive and the ending was a little rushed for my taste since I wanted a full spectrum of the relationship of Ender and Adelaide. But overall, I loved that Haleigh Lovell was able to tackle and bring forth light on people who are suffering from Asperger Syndrome.

THE SLAM to be honest, it was a slow start for me, but as you get into the first few chapters it started to pick up. Falling in love with your childhood friend is something I love reading, and as you get to know the hero and the heroine, you'll love both Adelaide and Ender. With Adelaide's condition, I struggled a little to connect with her. She's a very detailed girl that there are times when she just talks like she came out of an encyclopedia. She's a very smart girl and an adrenaline junky. As for Ender, he sleeps with anyone who has two legs and they all know nothing will come after sex...it's just sex with no strings attached. He's a tennis player who wants to go pro but with his dad hounding him and his brother, Edric, to go to college and to follow their the father's footsteps. Adelaide, Edric, and Ender all used to play together during their younger years but lost contact as they got to college until Adelaide lost her grandfather and was forced to move to the United States to come stay with her grandfather's grandma's grandchildren, the two known hotties in the campus. All three of them now have to live under the same roof. And one thing will lead to another, and Adelaide and Edric's friendship will be tested. Once they cross the line, will they ever be able to go back to how the things were before getting involve intimately? Only one way to find out. Go grab this book!

Thank you for giving me the chance to read The Slam, Haleigh. <3

HOMERUN!!!! CD Reiss pitches a sexy, fun and lighthearted romance that will strike the hearts of all romance aficionados and baseball fans. Be prepared to get dazzled and charmed by this heartwarming story that will bring out all the warm fuzzy feelings.

CD Reiss is an author that deserves to be in the spotlight as she clearly continues to amaze readers like myself with her prowess and expertise in contemporary romance. I know for a fact she has made me a fan as I am dangerously addicted to her books. As like with her previous books, CD has a way of hypnotizing her readers with her gorgeous and stunning prose. And in her newest sports romance, I was glued to my kindle as I had to devour this book in one sitting.

 photo Hardball Teaser 1_zpsteis3ukl.jpg

HardBall was a story that had a storyline that was simple and pretty much straightforward but what makes this book truly extraordinary is that Ms. Reiss packs this story with so much depth, love and emotions. She makes her readers feel the LOVE. Yes, I am talking about that explosive love. That home run kind of love. A love that will leave you feeling breathless and having a big fat smile on your face.

As a baseball fan, I love that CD Reiss was able to actually integrate baseball into the storyline. She didn’t give you a condensed and generic version of the sport but instead allowed readers to understand how baseball was an integral part to her hero, Dash. What else can I say but be prepared to get awe struck with this fabulous heartwarming love story. Be prepared to feel the trickling of raw emotions. And most importantly when it comes to real love there is no striking out.
