I love this book so much. I'm all for best friends who becomes more than just that. One hot football player, who has been in denial of his feelings for his best-friend is what got my attention and pulled me in from the first page. So much intensity and mixed emotions in this book that at times, I wanted to pull my hair and slap both characters silly to knock some sense into them.

Elle Richards has been on the sideline, watching Tristan from afar, hiding her true feelings for her best friend. Tristan is a wide receiver who slept with anything that had two legs. I hate it when two people are in love with each other and not say anything about it. Let it be known before it's too late, darn it!

 photo distraction4_zpsb931a67e.jpg

The love they had for each other was unbreakable, together or not, they will always hold a special place in each others heart. I loved how having a best friend to go to when in need of a shoulder to cry on or just knowing that someone cares about you, it made that special someone feel safe. Tristan being the Alpha-Male that he was, he always made sure that Elle was in safe hands and same goes with Tristan.

 photo distractionAngelaM_zps754a710d.jpg

The tension flowed through them but are too scared to put it into action. They're undying love for each other just stretched out way too long to be spoken out loud. How long can they both hold in this feeling of lust and love most importantly? Will they cross that line of friendship to finally admit to one another how they really feel?
You'll have to read and find out. This is the second book I've read written by Angela McPherson. I will be coming back for more. Love you and your writing!

Best Friends turns Lovers? This is what this book about. College students Elle and Tristan have been friends since they were kids. They were always very close, they counted on each other, no matter how many miles apart they were they stayed the best of friends. They were each others rock, they would drop anything and everything for each other. They were always in touch either by phone calls or text, until the day everything changed.

Tristan had no idea that Elle have loved in for so long. She live her life watching Tristan with different women, while staying his bestfriend and in the process being hurt because Tristan never looked at her the way she did him. Afraid of ruining their friendship, Elle never told Tristan how much she had been in love with him. Instead she kept her feelings hidden and stayed the best of friend she could to Tristan.

Same goes with Tristan, he was afraid of ruining his friendship with Elle and he never did believe that Elle ever looked at him anything but a friend. So he kept his feelings deep and had a relationship with College freshman, who had become his fiancé. Not going to the same school, made it easier for them two to not have to confront their feelings. Until Tristan as a football wide receiver’s school transfer was accepted and moved Tristan to the same school as Elle.

When Elle and Tristan started spending time together, both their feelings for each other surfaced and they decided to keep them hidden. Elle knowing that Tristan can never be hers’, decided to moved on with her life and starting dating Eric. Eric is sweet and is just what Elle needed, but to her he could never compare to Tristan. When Tristan started seeing them together, he decided he better do something about his feelings for Elle before he loses her forever.

Will Tristan finally leave his bitchy fiancé and be with Elle?
Will Elle give Tristan a chance, even though he had hurt her?
Or will she stay with Eric and forget all about Tristan?

I love how Tristan is. No matter how much his fiancé acted crazy about her friendship with Elle, he always defended Elle. Yes at times I wanted to smack Tristan for forgiving his fiancé and giving her too many chances. She was a controlling cheating bitch and didn’t deserve Tristan at all. Yes, Elle also needed to get smack a few times to stop being so scared and go for what she wants. This book had a great happy ending, but I felt like it as missing something. I want to read more about Tristan and Elle and where they are going with their relationship and life. So Angela please work on book 2 and give us more Tristan and Elle. Thank you for sharing your book with me. <3

Where have I been? I didn’t know how much I was missing out in this Blythe College series by Rochelle Paige. Outside the Box is the first book that I have read from this author and I can happily attest this won’t be the last. Rochelle Paige has me wanting more from the Blythe College cast. What I truly love about this series is that Ms. Paige made each book of the Blythe College series can be read as a standalone which was great for me since Outside the Box was the third book of the series and I went in totally blind not knowing what to expect. But let me just tell you, once you start reading you will not want to put the book down. First and foremost, I can gladly say Outside the Box will have you wanting your own very sexy Russian hockey player. The name that should be only left for you to speak of is Luka Ivanocich.

Luka Ivanocich is your not typical jock. He is smart, sexy, and a total badass possessive alpha male. Having been burned in the past, Luka is very cautious of his love life. He has built a wall surrounding his heart. So when he meets Aubrey, that came to an abrupt halt. Aubrey is a serial dater and a pregnancy scare caused her to put her serial dating to a standstill. Call it fate or luck, Aubrey needed a math tutor and it so happens to be that Luka was the one. Both Luka and Aubrey found themselves very attractive to one another and deciding to not let their past define them, they found themselves outside the box taking a chance on where this relationship could take them.

Outside the box...outside their comfort zone, Luka and Aubrey embarked on one hell of a sexy and hot romance. Their connection was sizzling and steamy. Ms. Paige made you want more Luka and Aubrey. On and off the ice, Luka scored major points with this book. What’s not to love about a book that has hot hockey player whispering sweet nothings in your ear in Russian. Talk about melting panties!! Can Aubrey put an end to her serial dating now that she has Luka? Or will Luka’s past and secrets hinder them from taking their new relationship to a new level?

OutsideTheBox_1

Outside the Box is definitely one college romance that I truly enjoyed. It was fast paced and hot. Ms. Paige didn’t drag out necessary angst drama that I find myself cringing in dealing with college romance. What Ms. Paige did was that she had a story that kept readers attention to what was truly important: Luka and Aubrey. I found myself enjoying the possessiveness and alpha personality of Luka. And to top it off, Ms. Paige made their sex scene..ummm hot and juicy!! I guess you have to read to find out why..one hint: grapefruit! Overall, Outside the Box was a great read and I look forward to reading more works from Ms. Paige. Rochelle Paige is definitely an author that I will keep my eyes out for. She can turn any alpha possessive male HOT!! So if you are looking for a hot alpha male and a sweet love story, then I highly recommend Outside the Box.

OMG, wow! It broke my heart as soon as I got to the first page. Cheaters I definitely hate and to be with someone for four years is kind of hard specially if it's a long distance kind of relationship. I've never been on one, but from witnessing it, I wouldn't do it, even if it kills me. I'd like to have my other half with me all cuddled up, spooning and all. This story had my heart in my throat from reading the PROLOGUE. I just wanted to get to the bottom of the story.

 photo Outsidetheboxjpg3_zps8f227ebb.jpg

Luka Ivanocich received a full scholarship as a hockey player in Blythe College. He was cheated on by his long distance girlfriend of four years. He's a hot and sexy faithful guy, who put up a wall, due to his past. He meets Aubrey and things changed. Aubrey had a false alarm with pregnancy and is now very cautious with dating and getting intimate. Attractions sparks between them and their plans to put these walls are out the window. They don't wanna live in the past forever, so they try and see where this would lead them. Thinking OUTSIDE THE BOX, that is. Luka's insecurities could ruin his relationship with Aubrey if he doesn't change. I love how he just wants her to himself and not care what others would say. At first, Luka heard different stories about her, that she slept with the entire school. BUT when she told him what the truth was, he was done for. Breaking down these walls, they built around their hearts that had been burned once wasn't easy, but it had to be done to make this relationship work.

It ended just how I wanted it to. There were times when I had to fan myself, just going gaga, trying to imagine Luka's sexy Russian accent. Such a sweet love story with some very heavy, hot sex and I want more please, Ms. Paige. Everyone deserves a chance at love and it's what this story is all about. If you are looking for a hot read with the sexiest hot Russian alpha-male, then you'd have to read this book. I highly recommend it!
