GOOOAAAAAAL!!!!!! Elle Kennedy once again has me cheering big time as she reunites readers with the beloved cast of the Off Campus Series. The Goal is the fourth installment and this time the spotlight is on John Tucker. I swear Elle Kennedy can write about anything and I will still be addicted and in this installment, she has made me a huge John Tucker fan. #TuckYeah

photo 0ee983b1b8e59f6510ccc73a726287_zps03zzkcyr.gif“He has confidence without the ego, which is the biggest turn-on ever.”

The Goal was a sexy blend of sweet, steamy, raw vulnerability and honesty. Elle Kennedy didn’t waste anytime as she instantly made readers like myself gravitate towards to John Tucker. In my opinion, he was just perfect. He was confident, understanding, patient, loving, and most importantly he knew what he wanted. And for some, John Tucker is the end goal of what every woman wanted in a man.

#THeGoal

Sabrina James is one of the strongest heroines that you will ever meet. She has worked hard to get where she is and knows Harvard Law is her end goal. Sabrina grew up in a household where there was lack of support and love and in such it harden Sabrina to rely only on herself and her two best friends. The dream was always to graduate Harvard Law and then become a successful lawyer. There was no time for romance or relationships that is until John Tucker entered her life.

photo 0ee983b1b8e59f6510ccc73a726287_zps03zzkcyr.gif“Oh sweet baby Jesus. Sex with Tucker is dirtier and hotter than I thought it would be. He doesn’t look like he’d be this way, but isn’t it always the quiet ones? I like it, almost too much. His hot breath warms my skin as I lower myself over his face.”

When Tucker first laid eyes on Sabrina, it was game over. It was like winning the Stanley Cup as she was everything that he wanted. She ignited a desire that made him crazy in love with Sabrina James. She was intelligent, drop dead gorgeous, driven, and most importantly she was everything that Tucker wanted. The sexual chemistry between Tucker and Sabrina was explosive. It was a symphony of passion, lust, and love. Everything about these two was intoxicating as their chemistry couldn’t be explained but only felt. Tucker was well aware that Sabrina didn’t do relationships and romance but being the good ol’ Texan boy, Tucker didn’t stop his pursuit of Sabrina and slowly he was able to tear down her walls of vulnerability and hard exterior.

#THeGoal1

As Tucker and Sabrina did that dance of where none of them defined their relationship, Sabrina informs him that she is pregnant. Sabrina had always been a planner and so when she discovers she’s pregnant, everything changes. Will she be able to be a single mother and still keep up with her classes? Or will Tucker show Sabrina that it’s okay to have a helping hand?

photo 0ee983b1b8e59f6510ccc73a726287_zps03zzkcyr.gif“You’re the only one for me. My sun rises and sets on your smile. My heart beats because yours does.”

Elle Kennedy did an amazing job with The Goal. This book had heart, raw emotions, relatable characters, and a love that was palpable from the start. Kennedy did a fabulous job in reminding readers that sometimes the unexpected detour might be the real goal in life. As always, Kennedy scored major points with her stunning prose as she allowed readers to see and feel this tangible connection of Tucker and Sabrina. So if you are looking for a story where the writing was superb and captured the themes of friendship, sacrifice, honesty and love then this book is definitely for you.

It’s no secret that I AM A HUGE FAN of Helena Hunting and when I found out that she was doing a crossover novella of the Pucked Series and Clipped Wings, I was beyond ecstatic!!! I couldn’t wait to be reunited with Hayden, Tenley, and Chris the most since it’s been awhile since I last read Clipped Wings and Inked Armour.

What makes this novella truly epic is that the Pucked Series gang of characters are back and ready to get inked by your favorite tattoo artist Hayden. So if you want to be reunited with Violet, Alex, Randy, Lily, Sunny, Miller, Charlene, Darren and Lance then you don’t want to miss this pucking amazing novella. And oh yeah it’s not a Helena Hunting book if she doesn’t incorporate a little sexy time so you truly don’t want to miss out on this novella as Hunting reminds readers that her characters are still pucking crazy for each other and of course Hayden with his cupcake, Tenley.

Score One for the Curvy Girls!!!!!!! Amy Andrews has once again set hearts racing and swooning for hot Australian Rugby Players!!!!! A lovable hero with a broken past. Check! A beautiful curvaceous heroine. Check! Hot passionate sex. Check! A palpable love story. Check!!! Smoking hot Rugby Players. BIG FAT CHECK!!!!

photo 59cd45b07c02a0de5912ec1f4f8f36_zpsfi7dwysi.gif“Simply put, he was all that and a bag of chips, and had completely stolen her heart. He’d had her from Dex the Stud.”

Harper Nugent is tall, curvy and may have a little junk in the trunk. Okay clarification, she has a lot of junk in the trunk. She has always been insecure with her outside appearance due to the nagging of her stepbrother and stepmother always reminding her that no one wants to date the fat chick. Well there was someone who wanted to date Harper Nugent and he was one of Sydney Smoke's star rugby players. Dexter Blake didn’t see any imperfection when he first saw Harper. All he saw was a goddess.

#PlayingItCool1

Dexter Blake’s life consisted of one thing only. Rugby. Dexter has sacrificed so much in order to finally be on a professional rugby team and he won’t let anything distract him from reach the top that is until Harper Nugent turned his world upside down. When Dexter saw Harper’s stepbrother humiliating Harper and calling her fat, Dexter knew that he had to put her stepbrother in his place. Right away, Dexter made it known that Harper Nugent is stunning. Her curves are what every woman would die to have.

photo 59cd45b07c02a0de5912ec1f4f8f36_zpsfi7dwysi.gif“My name on your lips as you come is the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard.”

So one date with Harper was not enough to satisfy his primal need for her. Dexter found himself intoxicated with her beauty, playfulness and vibrant personality. One taste of Harper was not enough and soon Dexter found himself spending every Sunday with her. But as they spent more time together, Harper began to fall hard for Dexter. She didn’t want to continue their casual fling of sex. She wanted more. And she was hoping Dexter would feel the same way. But as it turns out, rugby was non-negotiable. When Harper makes it known to Dexter that she wants to be included in his priorities and that she loves him, will Dexter walk away from the only person that he loves for the sake of his career? Or will Dexter realize that Harper Nugent is his world and way more important than rugby?

photo 59cd45b07c02a0de5912ec1f4f8f36_zpsfi7dwysi.gif“Because the truth was, however they’d classified their relationship, she had fallen in love with Dexter Blake.”

Amy Andrews is one of those authors who deserves to be spotlighted. She has sinfully and tastefully wrote a love story that was modern, playful, sexy, steamy, and full of heart in Playing It Cool. Yes, this book has lots of hot rugby players but readers will not be paying attention to the others as Dexter Blake will steal your hearts. This flawed man didn’t know what it was to love someone so much until Harper Nugent showed him that he didn’t need to play for her heart because he already had it. What I especially love about this book was that Amy Andrews didn’t shy away from highlighting a curvaceous heroine. Amy beautifully wrote a story emphasized that no matter what size you are that YOU ARE INDEED BEAUTIFUL and NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM YOU. So thank you Amy for writing a story that stresses the importance to love your body regardless if you got a little junk in the trunk. And for Dexter Blake, he loved the extra junk in the trunk especially in Harper. So if you are looking for a sports romance that is sizzling with heat, passion, and love then I would definitely recommend you to read Playing It Cool.

Sarina Bowen...if you are reading this review, you have me uncontrollably gushing over your new sports romance, Rookie Move. Sarina is somewhat a new author for me since it has only been earlier this year that I have started reading and devouring her books. I love the way Bowen can magically transport readers to feel the depth and connection of her characters and in her latest book, she finds a way to skate her way into my heart and you can thank Leo Trevi for that.

It’s no secret that I’m a fanatic of second chance romance. I am sucker for this particular trope and when you combine Sarina Bowen’s stunning prose and vibrant characters, you get an unforgettable romance that will set hearts fluttering. This book was a symphony of heart, tender moments, passion, steam, humor, playfulness, and raw emotions. So if you are looking for a romance book that was well-written and full of heart then I would highly recommend you to read this book.

Katie Ashley has been an author that quite recently has been on my book radar since I first read my first Katie Ashley book last year. When I first read the synopsis of her newest New Adult sports romance, The Hard Way, I knew instantly that I had to get my hands on this book stat.

The Hard Way was definitely a fitting title for this book as the author wrote a story that was filled with angst, drama, second chances and love. The hero in this case, Cade Hall is living the privileged life. He is handsome, cocky, smart and of course one of the stars in his college football team. When Cade got upset over his grade from this particular professor, his stunt of rebellion didn’t go unpunished. In order to keep his spot on the football team, Cade must serve his time volunteering at The Ark, a community center for inner-city teens.

Avery Prescott didn’t have any easy life growing up. She had to work hard to get to where she is today and working at The Ark is something very important to her. In her final year of college, she thought she escaped her past but when Cade Hall reappeared at the center, all the painful memories came flooding back. Cade Hall was the reason why she wanted to escape that small town and never look back. Cade broke her and he was the villain in her story. But what happens when the villain becomes the unlikely hero? Will Cade be able to show Avery that he is sorry for the things that he had done and that he is willing to work hard to get love and affection? Or will Avery make it very difficult for Cade?

The Hard Way is a second chance sports romance that was brimming with lots of angst and drama. This is definitely one of those reads where the hero had to go through a hard journey of redemption. Cade is not an easy character to like in the beginning but Katie Ashley allowed readers to see a vulnerable side to him thus allowing his character growth to be possible. So if you are a fan of football, second chances, and new beginnings then this book is definitely for you.
