A cocky egotistical manwhore. These are a few words to describe Sawyer Reed, star quarterback of Camden University. Sawyer knows he is the man of the campus. The guy that every college girl wants. The door of revolving girls is an endless cycle. His ego alone is as big as a football stadium. So if Sawyer can get any girl he wants, why does the elusive Gretchen Cole wants nothing to do with him. Well, the answer is that she knows Sawyer Reed is a cocky prick. When Gretchen doesn't fall for his charm and isn't willing to hand over her knickers easily to him, Sawyer is intrigued. And so begins his pursuit of Gretchen Cole. But what Sawyer doesn't realize is that Gretchen has a secret that she has kept from Sawyer. So in this cat and mouse game, will Gretchen be finding herself falling for the cocky quarterback? And will she see that behind the facade is a good man?

Usually, I don't mind a cocky manwhore but the hero, Sawyer Reed took me a long time to like. I wouldn't say that I love his character at the end but I will say that he was able to show character growth and that to me was quite an improvement. SACKED was definitely a slow build story since this book was about unfolding secrets and learning to forgive. Overall, I did enjoy SACKED by Tabatha Vargo but I just wished the truth and unfolding of the truth was exposed much earlier on in the book in which would have allowed a better and deeper connection between Gretchen and Sawyer. So if you are a fan of cocky manwhore who learned to change his ways, then this book might be for you.
