While book 2 is wildly entertaining, full of action and full of new characters, it was a little hard to read not having Tristan around. His presence in this book was very well missed. I really missed his very smart Alec attitude. I did however really enjoy the dreams that Ella had of Tristan, it was very sweet and enjoyable reminder why I loved Tristan’s character so much. The great part of about this book is we get to know a little bit more about Ella’s family, when she gets a chance to spend time with them. I love the family bonding time, before she got thrown into a whole new world. This book started a little slow at first compared to book 1, which to me packed a punch. This sequel goes through a whole lot of explanation of Ella’s world that she never knew existed. We get to meet a lot of really good character that becomes really awesome friends with Ella. As much as I loved Tristan, I did grow very fond of Roman who is almost as equally sexy as Tristan. Roman is another Irish guy who Ella becomes very attached to and takes a lot of her time. He is not very to be easy around, at first, but over time their feelings points them in the right directions.

There’s a lot of surprises that are in this book, that I really enjoyed and I cannot say anymore without really spoiling this book to new readers. A really good sequel to Jessica Miller’s series. I hope more people give this series a chance, because it’s a really good one. Lots of adventures, friendships, love and excitement. Be warned this book ends with a cliffhanger that will shock all readers, which is also a good start for book 3. Time to sink my teeth in book 3. =)
