☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Sexy Wilder Stars ☆☆☆☆
Kalli is a Muse, a big help to all that need it. Kalli have lived more than 1000 years and been around the block for more than she can count. She uses her mind and body to release her power to the artistic people in the world. She usually takes on who she finds one by one, male or female. She has no choice, to be able to live in the world she always have to keep looking for her person to inspire and let go when time. She was fine with everything, she knew that’s why she was made to be a muse. All that changed the day she met Wilder.
Kalli thought she could forget about Wilder, she was wrong. The day she lost control of her powers, Wilder found her with no shoes or jacket outside a club. Looking lost and confused. That was the day he brought her home and took care of her until she was better. That was also the day they had the sexiest foreplay they ever had. No matter how many people Kalli have been with she never felt the high she felt with Wilder and the feeling was mutual. Running into each other became a norm and Kalli always ran away scared of what she could do to Wilder, if she really let herself go and be with him.
While danger is lurking around the corner watching Kalli’s every move, Wilder and Kalli fall in love. But will love be enough to keep them together and be safe from all the danger that Kalli could be bringing just by being with Wilder? How far will these two go, just to be together? Will these two go at the end of the earth to be together? Read and find out.
This is Cora Carmack’s first paranormal story and I just love it. It was every bit, interestingly beautiful. I cannot wait to read the 2nd book. Yes this book ends with a cliffhanger, but it's not a bad one. It’s a cliffhanger that will get you excited for the next book and continue on the journey with Wilder and Kalli.

So if you are looking for a book that takes a modern spin on Greek Mythology then look no further than INSPIRE by Cora Carmack. Are you ready to get inspired? They say to be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible. And for Kalliope, a Greek Goddess, who was placed on Earth to be an immortal muse to use her ability to inspire for that sole purpose only. She doesn’t have any choice. It was what she was made for. Musicians, artists, painters, designers, writers and all those who specializes in the arts uses her ability to get inspired and in return she uses them to survive. Kalliope’s gift can be only be described as creation and destruction since it goes hand in hand. She can’t stay long with them since she must not get attached to them since her gift can be addicting.

For a millenium, she spent living a lie since she has to live in secret. She inspires others but Kalliope always knew deep down, she was missing something to complete her. She was missing the pull, connection and spark of what it truly means to FEEL ALIVE. And that all changed, when Kalliope runs into Wilder Bell. One touch was all it took for Kalli to see the connection and driving energy that was flowing between them. Simply, you could say an invisible thread connected them no matter if the thread tangles. The connection between Wilder and Kalliope was there and there was nothing that could stop this brewing connection and spark that ignited between them.

Although the connection was strong, there was one thing lingering over their relationship. The truth. The truth of Kalliope’s identity and immortality. Can Kalli let go of her fears and doubts and trust that her relationship with Wilder is real and meant to be? For so many years, Kalli walked on Earth inspiring others and creating beauty with her gift, can she finally see its Wilder who inspires her to feel alive? Can an immortal and mortal find everlasting love?

Inspire by Cora Carmack is a different kind of read and I must applaud Ms. Carmack for tackling on an original modern take on mythology while incorporating romance. I must say Wilder Bell stole my heart and was the heart of the book. He was sweet, kind, and understanding. No matter how much Kalli tried to distance herself from him, he never gave up. I understand Kalliope’s reluctance since she was a immortal but there were times I wanted to shake her and tell her please lose control and let Wilder in. As for their chemistry, there are no words. Their bond was already sealed since they were fated to meet. Overall, I enjoyed INSPIRE. This book was sweet, romantic, steamy and at the same time filled with drama and angst. I definitely look forward to reading the next book and read what will become of Kalli and Wilder,
Cora Carmack
