☆☆☆☆ 4.5 STARS ☆☆☆☆

Midnight Rose is addicting and so good. It’s a start of a new world, with so much going on. Author Dani Hart tells the story so beautifully, with teases of so many things, that’s to come. As she gives us bits of pieces of what we can look forward to, I was left so excited for the next installment of the Midnight Series.

Abigail had been in-love with her childhood friend Wesley, until a tragic accident pulled them apart. They were super close when they were growing up and there was no explanation on why Wesley left. Abigail became the town crazy and no one at her school could forget her obsession and breakdown when Wesley left. I felt so bad for Abigail for what the school had put her through, especially her so-called friend Natalie. I am glad that Abigail had an awesome best friend like Kendra, who cared for her like no other. When Wesley came back two years later wanting to get close to her again, Abigail didn’t know what to do. I love the Twilight Bella-Edward vibe that Abigail and Wesley gave me. It made me miss Twilight so much. There’s the back and forth from Wesley that gave Abigail whiplash “I can’t stay away from you any longer”. I love how young and innocent the love that Wesley and Abigail had, but I also wished that they had more time spent together to be in-love. Then there’s the mysterious Elijah, who I’d come to also love. So protective of Abigail and who is also in love with Abigail. We get a love and hate with Elijah, until we learn the truth.

I enjoyed the relationship that Abigail had with her dad, who called her peanut. They are super sweet and I couldn’t help but love them, at every page I turned. When I was done with the book which ended with a cliffhanger, I couldn’t help but feel a little lost. I want the next book right now. I hope Author Dani Hart, won’t make us wait a year for the next installment. I am hooked that’s for sure. I can’t wait to read more about Abigail, Wesley and Elijah. Loved it so much.
