At 21, she meets Simon officially…
Unexpected kisses…longing stares…Officially on cloud nine.
Will this be her chance to make her childhood dream come true?
I guess only time will tell.
At 21 Sydney gets the chance of a lifetime to work with the London Boys as their new PR. Knowing that Simon is part of the group, made more of a goal she wanted to reach. With the help of her friend Ethan, she got her chance. As excited as she was of her new job, she was also scared of what could become of her childhood crush.
Simon hasn’t been the same since his teen years, a tragic accident had changed him. For four years he had been drowning himself with random women and booze. If he didn’t get his act together soon, he was going to be kicked out from the group that made him a household name.

Once Sydney and Simon meets as adults at a bar, they felt a connection right away. The meeting started with a conversation that turned heated, that ended with the most explosive kiss they both ever had. Simon may not have remembered who Sydney was at that time, but Sydney haven’t stopped thinking about him since the day he picked her out of the crowd, brought her on stage to be serenaded. Sydney knew at that moment that she would do anything to have Simon by her side, but will that put her new job on the line? I guess she’ll have to find out.
On a 5 day cruise trip with the London Boys, Sydney got her time to get to know Simon. Sydney tried to stay away from Simon scared of what her relationship with Simon will do with her new job. Simon always followed her every chance he got and this became the norm with them while on the cruise. They became close, stories were shared and feelings grew. But when one simple mistake, pulled them apart, everything that they thought they knew about each other was thrown out the window.
Will Simon and Sydney find their way back into each others arms? Or will Simon keep spiraling out of control and lose her forever? Read and find out.
Another sweet, enjoyable story from Melinda Harris. I enjoyed the longing looks Simon and Sydney had for each other, their heated kisses and the love they had for each other. It may have been a little disturbing how Simon loses himself when he can’t handle what’s going on and do the dumbness things. At times I wanted to smack the h*ll out of him for Sydney. And I think Simon may have overused the word Goddess when it came to Sydney.
One of my favorite parts of the story is how loyal and loving both their best friends are. Ollie and Lacy are the best and the cutest, I would love to read more about this two. Thx for sharing your book with me Melinda. You are awesome.
