I cannot recommend this highly enough!! Forbidden romance, hidden into the world make out sessions, hot sex and hot ex Rockstar bad boy, is all packed in this Wicked love story. Missy, what a great sweet romance this was.
Micah left home and pretended to be a twenty-one year old, but she's really only 17 years old. Taking a risk at this, I gave her props for. She is an incredible singer, when she auditioned for a lead singer of the Resurrection, she blew the audience's mind away. Specially the manager of the band... Who was the one and only Saxon Waite, hottie ex bad boy of rock.

Cleaning Saxon's life up was hard work and for him to see his cousin doing just the one thing he got himself away from is worrying him. He regrets everything that happened in his past and will never forgive himself for what he did that will never be taken back no matter how many apologies has been made. I just wanted to hug him and let him know that he needed to move forward.

This was such a sweet read. Being given a second chance in life to get your act together was what was given to Sax. He wanted to be a better person, went to rehab and got cleaned. Now, he's matured and just wants a better life. As for, Micah, I felt her pain about not being loved, my her mother and being blamed for her brother's death. If I was in her shoes, moving to a place with nothing in my pockets, I would've been terrified, but for her, she she approached it with her headstrong. She just wanted to be a totally different person and not be reminded of what happened in the past. I loved how strong and independent she was and had so much confidence in herself. That's how she became the lead singer of Resurrection. She had the balls to perform in front of the crowd as her audition. It was nerve wracking at first, but with Sax and Harry cheering her on, it went smoother than she never would've imagined.
The friendship between Sax and Micah became more as they spend more time with each other. There may have been bumps and bruises along the way, but I loved it all the same. When I was on the last page, it left me wanting more. On bended knees begging for the book two please, Missy. I am looking forward to book 2.

“His twenty-five, he thinks I’m twenty-one, I’m actually seventeen”.
This book starts out with 14yr old Micah meeting a stranger to pick up her new Identity to start her new life and forget about her past. New Identity also makes her 4yrs older than her real age. Then it cuts to 3yrs later, Micah on her way to audition to be a singer for a new rock group called Resurrection. She almost lost her chance by being so nervous, but without waiting for another chance, she just sang her heart out and blew everyone away. Which got her another audition with the band’s manager.
Same can be said about Micah, she didn’t expect for love to sneak up on her. All she wanted was to be part of the band, because of her love for music. She didn’t know love will also find her on her way up to making her dreams come true. When things started to heat up with her and Saxon, her past caught up to her.
Will Saxon leave Micah when he finds all her lies?
What will he do when he finds out that Micah is actually a 17 yr old girl?
Read and find out.
I love this story and really enjoyed Saxon and Micah,. They were so sweet, I couldn’t help but want them to have their happily ever after. As an ex-badboy, you will be surprise on how sweet Saxon is. I do wish there was more heat in the book and I felt like the book ended too soon. I am hoping that Missy is writing a sequel, because I feel like Saxon and Micah deserved a better ending.
Also Saxon is now added to my ever so growing book boyfriends. <3 Saxon!
This book also shows that age is nothing but a number and I believe that completely.

On paper,Micah is 21 years old but in reality she is a 17 year old minor living on her own. She has big dreams of becoming a singer and when she lands the role of lead singer to an indie band, Micah’s life changes. What Micah didn’t expect was that her manager to be Saxon Waite, ex bad boy of rock. As the band goes on tour, Micah and Saxon begins to gravitate towards each other. No longer fighting the sexual tension and chemistry, Saxon and Micah begins their relationship. For Saxon, he considered the four age gap big. But little does he know, its not four but eight. When Saxon finds out the truth, how will Micah explain all her lies?
When I first read the blurb, I was hooked. It screamed Forbidden Romance and if you know me I am a big fan of forbidden romance but as I read Wicked Innocence by Missy Johnson it had the elements that I loved but the story fell flat as the story progressed and also there were missing details to the relationship with Micah and Saxon. I did not love the story but didn’t hate it… for me, this book had so much potential but the missing added details that needed to be addressed turned me off. For example, Micah is 17 years old and never had a boyfriend. And when she and Saxon finally had sex, I found Micah to be to experienced. Maybe I was at least expecting for her to be a virgin since it was more believable since I find Micah on the more innocent side than wicked. Also, when Saxon discovers Micah’s real age, the topic of when she turns 18 or her birthday never comes up. The whole time I was reading this I was wondering if Saxon was ever curious. And lastly, when the truth was revealed why didn’t Micah want to be called by her real name. Overall, Wicked Innocence was a quick read that will keep you entertained with the progression of Sax and Micah’s relationship but liked I said it lacked the added details that would made me love the book.
