BETRAYAL. DENIAL. FALLING IN LOVE. SECOND CHANCES.
Sadie just had her heart broken when she caught her fiancé in her bed with some bimbo. It made me so angry when she caught Braden in bed with another woman. Knowing the fact that he was at fault and so was this home wrecker, what they just did and still acted like Sadie was the one who committed a crime. She ends up in jail after how this bastard and his other woman just twist the situation around. Getting one phone call from a jail cell, was how her life turned to something she did not expect. Calling her best friend Ezra to bail her out was one of the best decisions she's ever made in six months. Being with her ex-fiance made her push everyone she cared about away just to satisfy him. Specially pushing the one person she knows will never turn her down and will always be there when she's in need of a shoulder to lean on, is something she regrets.

Ezra is a drummer of the band called Willow Creek. They had just finished their tour and on the break. He's home and the one person he wants to spend time with is none other than the broken hearted Sadie, one of his best friends. He always had some scary feelings he never pursued. Scary because he's worried that he does what his heart tells him, will end up with him losing his best friend. He would rather have her as a friend than not having her in his life. Ezra offered to help Sadie with her living arrangements, since she was living with her cheater of a fiancé, she moved out and moved in with Ezra.

Together they both spend more time than they ever had and things start to turn into something they both weren't ready for. Ezra and Sadie both decide to agree on an arrangement that could either turn into something they had been longing for, or end up losing the friendship they both cherish. Will they both end up hating the decisions made or think it was the best they ever agreed on? Denying to come out and make something exclusive means risking a lot. Accepting the fact and moving forward with it will be a big leap of faith for these two.
I can't wait for what Micalea has in store next. This is a must read and I highly recommend it.

Sadie and Ezra had been best friend for years, they grew closer when their own best friends fell in love and left them on the sideline. Yes, there best friends Emma and Maddox are great, but those two are so lovely dovey all the time that they also needed someone else to spend time with. After Sadie’s engagement went to hell, Ezra saved her from it all and ended up making a home in Ezra’s guest room. It didn’t take long for their friendship to go back to the way it used to be, but Sadie wanted more. She wanted the happily ever after like her best friend Emma has. When her feelings grew stronger for Ezra, she hopes she could have that with him. But she thought Ezra would never give her a chance for that kind of relationship, so when Ezra agreed to her friends with benefits proposition, they intimately grew closer together. But while they enjoyed each other’s company Sadie’s heart broke little more everyday, because everyday she was with him her love for him grew stronger. As sweet as Ezra was with her, he was very guarded with his heart.

Will Ezra fight for Emma’s heart before she runs away from the heartache she swore she was headed to? Read and find out.
This is a sweet book about friendship and love. How not seeing the person right in front of you for who they really are to you, before it’s too late. Ezra and Sadie are sweet and very playful and the best of friends. Of course I love that we still get to see what happens with the rest of the Willow Creek family, especially Emma and Maddox my favorite couple of the family. Can’t wait to see what we have in store for Hayes and Arden. Another great follow to the Willow Creek series.
