Loving Dallas (Neon Dreams, #2)Loving Dallas by Caisey Quinn

☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆

Loving Dallas is a second chance love story of lovers that never got over each other. Dallas Lark and Robyn Breeland were high school sweethearts. Helping each other, living their dreams together, until unknown circumstance broke them apart. They tried to live their lives separately, but they never forgot about the love they shared.

Years later, Robyn got what she worked so hard for and Dallas was on his way to become a country star. When their worlds collided that surprised them both, they decided to survive their new world they have to work together and be adults about the past and present. Instead of becoming friends, their late night dinner turned into an all nighter they never thought would happen again. One night together wasn’t enough, so it became regular. Rules were made of things being casual, until a surprised changed it all.

Will their love be enough to stay together and to also live the dreams they worked so hard for?
Read and find out.

This is a simple story about these two lovers, that goes from cold to hot quickly. These two didn’t waste too much time before getting together and it was how it’s supposed to be. Dallas and Robyn’s love were deep that time and circumstances were what controlled most of the outcome, until they took control.

Be warned that the sex is really toned down in this book, compare to Casey Quinn’s other books. But every time these two got together, it was nothing but sweet. They truly were a loving couple, even if they didn’t see it at first. The ending of Dallas and Robyn’s story is as sweet as it should be, an ending that they both deserve.

I cannot wait to read the next Neon Dreams book, I hope we finally get Dixie and Gavin’s happy ending..those two deserve all the happiness.

☆☆☆☆☆5-SECOND CHANCE STARS☆☆☆☆☆

Given a second chance at love is something you shouldn't take for granted. The only hard part is that it just means you have to work extra harder than you did the first time. Cherish it because I don't think anyone get to experience it. Love doesn't come easy...

Dallas is Dixie's brother from LEAVING AMARILLO, he was introduced as the overprotective big brother to her. It had been just the two of them siblings left to look after each other since they lost their loved ones. Dallas would drop everything for his sister. But in LOVING DALLAS, we get to know his story. His regrets and heartbreak. Having a pursue his dream is what got in the way of what his life could've been with the only girl who owns his heart, even after all that he's been through, Robyn is still the only one he could ever give his heart to. He's close to making it big and true dedication is what got him this close. He had to bow out of a lot of things to become a successful musician. Leaving the one thing that started his career...the band, only family and his high school sweetheart were what had to be done.

Robyn gave up the chance to be with the one and only person she ever loved. Staying behind and not being able to go to Dallas to experience this one in a million experience was something she regrets. Due to some circumstances that she had no control of, was one of the best decisions she's ever made. But it doesn't mean that she's happy about it. What comes a sacrifice also comes with heartbreak. Staying behind also made her pursue her own dream. She's a successful marketing coordinator and a promoter of a liquor distributor out of Texas. Being creative for parties and having her travel a lot for huge companies, made her become a really dedicated and hard working employee. She will not let anyone destroy this security she built around herself, even of it means denying what she wanted in the beginning.

Given the second chance to cross path with your ex-lover made them both open their eyes to what they shouldn't have abandoned in the past. Since they have to work together, everything around them comes to a halt, makes them realize old habits never die. You deny all you want even knowing the fact that deep down you'll only end up hurting yourself. For Dallas and Robyn, the old feelings come back and slaps them in the face. Will they be able to fight off this attraction they thought died a long time ago? Will they let their careers get in the way of taking the second chance they never thought possible? Old flame ignites and succumbs both of them into oblivion.

I have been a fan of Caisey Quinn since Kylie Ryan's series and I am looking forward to reading more of her work. She knows how to pull at her readers and leaving them wanting more. I can't wait to read the conclusion to Dixie and Gavin's story, releasing in the fall. The anticipation is killing me. So excited for Neon Dreams Series.
