Hiding from the world while fighting his demons was the his way of coping. Tex lost his younger sister Julia and it's been a few years, but still he has not moved on. Living in a mansion that looked like no human being would wish to live in. Dark and scary. Looking like no one even lives in his house. But it was his own and he was fine with it. The only problem is that he cannot clean up after himself. He needs a housekeeper and he needs one asap, since it was suggested.
Ruby was living with her parents, but when the rent was too much that she could no longer afford it, she had to find a job and live on her own. Since making apps for devices isn't enough to live off of, she needs to find a job. She finds one that was something she could do and still continue with making apps the apps when done with her day job.

Tex hires Ruby to be his housekeeper and sets a schedule for her so that they would come across each other since he's so afraid that people might recognize him. Together they work things out. One chance of crossing paths might change how Tex has been living. Living like a hermit but ending for him soon enough. Ruby thought that by pushing him into something he's been trying to get away from might not be such a good idea after all.
Tex and Ruby's love story was a slow brewing type, but was one that I loved. Since ROCK YOU is book one of of the Fallen Star series, it ends with a cliffhanger. And I can't wait to get my hands on and find out what happened to both Ruby and Tex. I highly recommend you start with the series.

Well anything can happen. Friendship. Music. Love.
When Tex hired a housekeeper, he expected a middle aged woman to show up, but what he got was a beautiful, simple young woman named Ruby. She’s feisty, speaks what's on her mind and she has a beautiful heart. When Ruby was hired as a housekeeper, she expected to be working for an old guy, but what she got was a young handsome man hiding under his hood. He was a grump, a hermit who didn’t want anyone in his way. Tex was rude and grumpy to Ruby, but she chose to put up with him because she needed the job. But anytime Tex’s strong personality was too much, Ruby stood up for herself and always put Tex in his place. Everything was fine with them for a little while, staying out of each other’s way was easy..Until their feelings got in the way.

When Tex Rockstar past became the future again and on his way to stardom, Ruby started to question who she really is to him. Ruby thinks herself as an ordinary girl, she didn’t see herself in his rock star life. Will Tex find a balance of being a rock star and being the guy that Ruby had fallen for? Read and find out.
