Anytime Daniel and Walker were apart, it killed me. Daniel and Walker are so in love and would do anything for each other. Walker is a strong woman, but with Daniel she’s so much more. When everything isn’t right in their world, they both fight and fight to make things right. At times life got more complicated and all they can do is live for each other, live for the love that they have for each other and their family. All the beautiful words that Daniel said to Walker, always hit me like a ton of bricks. Daniel is really the family’s hero. Daniel is more than a man, that even he thought he could ever be. He fights for himself, his family and especially for Walker. So much emotions in this book.
This book tied me up and didn’t let me go until the end. In this sequel, we are also introduced to a lot of new characters. Not only do we get to meet them, but we get a POV of how each character had died and a little about their lives before their untimely death. Each and everyone of them share themselves like memories. Daniel and Walker aren’t my only favorite, little Bobby also captured my heart. He such smart boy, with a bad mouth and so funny. Bobby made me laugh through different parts of the book and he also broke my heart a few times. Bobby is too smart for his age and he is the most adorable little boy.

I have so many favorite parts in this book that I can’t pick just one, really I don’t want to spoil this book for anyone. Walker and Daniel have a lot of sweet moments that will forever be embedded in my memories like it’s something real, like how Bella and Edward consumed me when I was reading Twilight. Daniel and Walker are my new Bella and Edward, just rougher and tougher. This book does leave us with a cliffhanger to the group’s next adventure, but it’s not a cliffhanger that will make any fan upset. Just the beginning of the their upcoming adventure. C.L. Gaber you are awesome. Can’t wait for book 3.
