What happens when you have a hard life and you have a broken heart?
Would you live your life to make sure your life turns out well?
Or will you make every wrong choice you can make, thinking it would make everything better?
Well when it comes to Alexis, she chose to make wrong choices.

After a hard childhood and a broken heart, Alexis promised herself not to ever get attached and fall in love ever again. Never let anyone get too close or trust them. Which she ends up taking seriously, Alexis slept around like it’s nobody’s business. She never brings any man to her bed, but fu**s everyone in the bar back room or random bathrooms ,etc. Having sex with random strangers anytime she wanted is what she liked, sex made her feel in control. But all she was doing was denying how she really felt. All sex did was cover up what she really was feeling deep inside. Sooner or later it was going to catch up to her and it did.
Picture
The book went back and forth in the past that showed the more innocent Alexis with her childhood best friend and sweetheart Dylan. Dylan who is so sweet, caring and very loving. He always made sure Alexis was doing good, he took care of her and he was always there for her. There friendship turned into something more and they fell in love, but because of a misunderstanding, they separated.

My favorite parts of the book were when Alexis was with Dylan. Their childhood time together was super sweet and full of love. Then you get to see Alexis as an adult, who think she has a control of her life. I didn’t really enjoy Alexis as an adult, she was a slut and I couldn’t believe how she degraded herself for sex. Every time I thought she figured herself out, she does the most f*** thing and I hate her again. You will either love or hate her character and I felt both. At times you will feel bad for her for the situation she’s in, but then you get to thinking and realized she put herself in that position. Reading about her life and what she did with herself was infuriating. Then Dylan comes back in the picture and makes everything ok again.

Dylan in my opinion is what made this book and I love him for it. I really hope he gets his happy ending, because out of all the characters in the book, he deserves so much happiness that Alexis cannot give him.

One, Two, Three...Inhale, Exhale. Breathe. Honestly, I have no words to describe how f*%king brilliant this book is. I am a big JA Huss fan and Three, Two One (321) is definitely on my list of my favorite reads of 2015. I am literally amazed, stunned, and spellbinded with this book. One word 321 is perfection. JA Huss has always been on my list of authors of must read books and in 321, I personally think she has outdone herself in this book. Three,Two, One was one of those books that tore your heart into pieces but as the story progresses, JA Huss slowly mends the pieces together and tapes them together. Julie has a way of capturing the hearts of her readers and she truly captured my heart with this palpitating, suspenseful, endearing, touching and mind-blowing book. She allows her readers to step outside the box and see that not everything is perfect. Love is not perfect. Friendships are not perfect. Life is not perfect. And maybe 3’s are better than 2’s.

#THree21

3,2,1 is unlike any story that I have read and with that being said I am still mind-blown and at a loss for words on how to write this review. From the first page of this book, JA Huss will have you devouring this book in one sitting because she did not just hand you a typical love story but she hands you an epic raw story of love, friendship, and soul mates with a twist. She gives you three hearts, three souls, three important characters that are ingrained with you that you will hold dear to your hearts.

#321-132

One girl. Two Best friends. Three Soul-mates. Yes, I think that best sums of the book. I really don’t want to spoil anything because this book is one of those books that must read and experienced. It will leave you feeling vulnerable, raw, stripped bare, and have your emotions all over the place. It’s one of those roller-coaster rides that you must be willing to ride and take a chance on. And I’m beyond happy that I was able to experience this thrilling suspenseful book because it really left me breathless. Yes, this book was filled with heat, steam, and lots sexy moments, but what drew me in the most with this book was the storytelling and the writing. At first, I thought I was going to get 3 POVs since this book was about 3’s but JA Huss made this story so unique because we were able to get three POV’s but told by two of the trinity. This book is about secrets, lies, and truths waiting to be unraveled. All I got to say, JD, Ark and Blue may not have the traditional love story but what they do have is passion, heat, love, devotion, and each other’s heart.

#321_1

Why should you read 3,2,1? I can give you so many reasons as to why this book is a must read but since this book plays with numbers, I will simply say:

One: This book is one of a kind.
Two: This book was written so eloquently and beautiful that it will grip and touch all the emotions.
Three: This book was so raw, intense and passionate that I still am in awe of Julie’s wicked brilliance in delivering a suspenseful erotic story that intertwines friendship and love.

“She is not one lost girl. We are not two best friends. We are one trinity of perfection.”

Jax and Mia’s wild ride continues and picks right off where it last left off in the first installment of The Vigilante Lover series. Right off the opening pages, Mia and Jax tries to dodge kill shots, darts, car chases, and all those high tech spy tracking devices. They are on the run and trying to assess what the hell is going on and who they can trust. After temporarily escaping from the other Vigilantes, Jax finally realizes that Mia is just an innocent civilian and is curious as to how she ended up residing in a house that was part of the safes houses operated by a Vigilante. Questions begins to emerge, was Mia’s aunt a Vigilante? Not only does Jax has to deal with that, he soon learns the truth of his friend and slowly things begins to unravel on who is trustworthy in the organization. And of course, there is the added sexual tension and chemistry between Jax and Mia. For Mia, all she has left is Jax and so she wants to stick with him but he keeps pushing her away for her safety but when danger threatens the safety of Mia, he realizes its best that she sticks by him. When Jax tries to protect and ensure the safety of Mia, will protecting her be his demise?

#VGvol2

This second installment of The Vigilante Series reminded me of Jason Bourne, James Bond and Ethan Hunt of the Mission Impossible. If you are looking for romance, then I’m sorry to disappoint you because this second installment was more of a suspense action thriller storyline. Bombs, high tech equipments, car chases, GPS trackers, and all those things that you associate with spy movies were a major part of the storyline. This book was more like watching a Jason Bourne/Mission Impossible type of movie. It was a fast paced read that will definitely have you holding your breath especially since this book literally ended with a BANG of a cliffhanger!!! Will Jax and Mia be able to see another day? I can’t wait for volume 3 to see what’s next for Jax and Mia as they try to figure what whom in the Vigilante organization wants them dead.

WOW!!! Yes, that is the first word that comes into my mind when I finished devouring The Vigilante’s Lover by Annie Winters and Tony West. I am hooked and can’t get enough of this book!! Bondage, tech gadgets, a secret group, and James Bond/Jason Bourne-type esque hero...do I need to say more!! Yes, this book had me addicted and I wanted to know more of Jax De Luca and Mia Morrow.

#VigilanteLover

The Vigilante’s Lover was fast pace and a suspense thriller that will have you turning the pages of your kindle so fast because you are dying to know what happens next. This book definitely started off with a BANG!! A prisoner who sends out secret coded letters to his friend detailing his plan of escape from prison. If anyone was to read these letters, they were in for a surprise since it details of accounts of bondage and sexual innuendos. But what Jax didn’t intend was that his letters to end up in the hands of a young naive woman, Mia Morrow. When Mia finds these letters she couldn’t help but respond back to them. These letter awakened a deep sexual arousal for her. She would imagined what it would be like if Jax did these things to her. Well Mia is in a rude awakening, literally when she awakes to find Jax De Luca in her bedroom and it so happened that he did tie her up in bondage.

To say Mia is stunned is an understatement when she finds herself tied up to her bedposts. Being that Jax was once betrayed by a female lover, he thinks Mia was one of those trained vigilantes to take him out. He sees Mia as a threat but what he doesn’t know that Mia just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was just an innocent civilian not the vigilante spy that Jax thinks she is. When Jax takes Mia to this secret headquarters to see if she’s telling the truth and to find out where his missing friend went, he soon learns that there is no records of Mia Morrow. She is a clean slate which raises flag of who she is and how did she end up living in one of the Vigilantes safe houses. Is Mia Morrow just an innocent civilian who got her identity mistaken? Or is there some secret waiting to be unraveled of Mia’s parents and aunt?

The Vigilante’s Lover was so good that I’m dying for the next installment and hopefully Annie Winters and Tony West won't keep us waiting long. Though this book ended in a cliffhanger, It was definitely worth it to see some action, suspense, and possibly romance brewing between Mia and Jax. I will just say that cliffhanger has me excited for the book 2!! So if you are looking for a Bourne/Bond hero with a side of Christian Grey, then I highly suggest you go read The Vigilante’s Lover and meet Jax De Luca.

Beyond the Consequences (Consequences, #5)Beyond the Consequences by Aleatha Romig

www.GlitterTextOnline.com

Beyond The Consequences by Aleatha Romig was beyond everything I expected this book to be. This fifth book of the Consequences Series was breathtakingly beautiful. If there was ever a series that I don’t want to end, this would be it. From the first book to this fifth book, readers have seen the transformation, growth, and maturity of the love Tony and Claire has for each other. Their love for each other has deepen, evolved, and has gotten stronger over the years. It is a love built on trust, forgiveness, passion, and a bond so strong that has withstood the test of time.

“Until we have seen someone’s darkness, we don’t really know who that person is. Until we have forgiven someone’s darkness, we don’t really know what love is.”- Marianne Williamson

#BYC

This book was so eloquently written that Ms. Romig outdid herself when she made readers see beyond the words. She allowed her readers to FEEL. To feel the deep love, the jealousy, the hurt, the loss, the regret, and most importantly to feel the connections that binds Tony and Claire. What I truly love about this series is that it is truly built on many layers of different characters. Though the story is solely focused and built around Tony and Claire, the secondary characters play a big role into the storyline. Without these characters, there will be no mystery, suspense, romance, friendship, family, and most importantly no Tony and Claire.

In this 5th book, Ms. Romig picks off where readers last remembered Tony and Claire. I thought Claire and Tony reunited with Nichol was the perfect ending to complete their HEA but Ms. Romig treated her readers and fans of the series to another amazing installment that was beyond perfection. I really don’t want to spoil anything for the readers because this book was an absolute delight and treat for me. It left me smiling and crying big fat happy tears. But I will just say, Ms. Romig did not just give us all happy and lovey dovey moments, but in true Aleatha Romig fashion she added a bit of vulnerability, suspense and twist into the storyline. And of course, Ms. Romig not only treated us with the romance of Tony and Claire but also to a brewing romance of Phil Roach and his woman. So if Tony and Claire are not enough justification to read this book, then I’m sure you are dying of curiosity to know who is this lucky lady that captured the heart of Phil Roach.

#BYC_1

Beyond The Consequences is a bittersweet read for me. It feels like I’m saying goodbye to Tony and Claire but at the same time I am so thankful and beyond happy that Ms. Romig brought them back. I absolutely love Tony and Claire because their love may not be perfect but what love is. Their relationship and romance may not be of fairytales but 100% their love came full circle. It is a love like no other. A love worth fighting, dying and sacrificing for. When we first started out with this series, Aleatha Romig took my heart, twisted it around, tore it to pieces and then as the series progressed, she slowly taped it back together. So if you haven’t read the Consequences Series, I highly suggest you do. You do not want to miss an epic, heartbreaking, emotional, dark, captivating and fated romance that will have you yearning for more. Tony and Claire’s love and devotion for each other will grip you, touch and will stay with you. And the Consequences Series is a perfect reminder that you don’t have to explain and justify your love to the world. The only thing that matters is that Tony and Claire are two puzzles pieces that fit together.

“No, Tony. I didn’t make you into anyone. You’ve always been this man. People don’t change: they hide. The man you were was a shell hiding the man you are today. The woman I was, when you first took me, was a shell hiding the woman I was afraid to be. I didn’t make you. You didn’t change me. And I thank God that once our shells were broken that the two people we really were fit together so well. “ ~Claire

There are authors that you automatically one-click and Jen Frederick happens to be one of those authors for me. I absolutely love and adore Jen Frederick. And in her newest release with Jessica Clare, Last Hit:Reloaded was another great addition to the Hitman Series. To fully enjoy this novella, it is best advised that you read Last Hit so you can fully understand the dynamic of the relationship of Daisy and Nick.

#lastHit

The Last Hit: Reloaded follows up on the lives of Daisy and Nick as they try to immerse themselves to a normal social setting. This novella really chronicles how they try to adjust to daily life, school and making new friends. Daisy and Nick for so long have been so isolated and socially inept so they try to figure out how to make friends especially for Daisy. If you know anything about Daisy, she longs to make a friend outside of her circle of Nick and her dad.

This novella packed so much into this short read that you can’t help but be reminded as to why I love Daisy and Nick. Together, these two really exemplifies what it means to really love. The love they have for each other is so passionate, raw, and vulnerable that you can really feel how far they would go to protect their love. So if you are a big fan of The Hitman Series, Last Hit:Reloaded was an enjoyable read especially for those diehard Daisy and Nick fans. This novella was sexy, steamy and packed a punch. Another amazing installment from Jessica Clare and Jen Frederick.

Can falling in love become deadly? Or is falling in love the only way of Surviving?

FBI Profiler Isabella has been living her life with a case hanging over her head. She had been looking for a way, anything for her to get a break on catching a rapist. Hitting so close to home, she couldn’t let it go. One night when a sexy Detective came by looking for help to hopefully solve his case, he begged for Isabella’s help. Their instant attraction was undeniable, but it was also a distraction to both of them. Isabella agreed to help, not because she was attracted to him… it was because she was hoping it was the big break she had been waiting for.
Picture
They worked together great and they had chemistry like you wouldn’t believe. As they got deeper into their case, they also dug deep into each others hearts. Knowing they live in different states, they tried to deny their feelings. But with their bodies and their hearts craving for each other, how much longer can they keep away from their feelings?

This book is great, it reminded me a little bit of all my favorite shows CSI, Bones and so on. I love how the story kept me engaged, the strong heroine, the love and chemistry the characters had for each other. I enjoyed it a lot. If you are looking for sex, this is not the book for you. This book is full of mystery, suspense, excitement and mix in with a little romance.
