If you read Katee Robert's The Marriage Contract then you were introduced to three prominent Irish Boston mafia families and so in this second installment, The Wedding Pact Katee Robert takes her readers back to the nitty-gritty corrupt worlds of three families and their struggle for power and control.
Carrigan O’Malley and James Halloran belong to two opposing families. They are well aware that their families are manipulative and ruthless. But unlike their families, Carrigan and James find comfort within each other. There is no facade or pretense when they are together. Together, their walls are exposed and it is only when they are together do you see the real Carrigan and James.

In this sensual, sexy and suspenseful tale, Katee Roberts delivers a story where love, family, sacrifice and trust collides. James is well aware that his want to have Carrigan makes no sense to his family but he wants her. She is the only one that keeps the darkness at bay and brings him a sense of humanity. Will James be able to convince Carrigan to trust him and their deep connection?
When reading The Wedding Pact, I highly encourage you to read The Marriage Contract in order to get a full backstory on the Irish mafia families involved. The story of Carrigan and James is a romance tale that I thoroughly enjoyed since their personalities brings forth a different and raw perspective of their wants, hopes, and dreams. Together Carrigan and James discovers that they can find comfort, trust, and love only with each other.
