Once again, Aleatha Romig has masterfully crafted a series that has readers begging for more. In this third installment, Deception, readers are taken down the proverbial rabbit hole where truths, lies, and secrets are slowly revealed and unmasked. In true Aleatha fashion, every detail and raw emotions are perfectly told and orchestrated in providing a glimpse of the facets and motives for the secondary characters and as well as for Charli and Nox. Nothing is black and white. And so forth, Aleatha allowed readers like myself to read between the lines and given a big taste of what is to come.
Since I don’t want to spoil the book, I will just say that you will get an in depth perspective of Nox and his father’s relationship to Charli’s family. And of course, lots of secrets and lies are just waiting to be exposed. Curious as to what those secrets are and what is the big cliffhanger, well I guess the only way for you to find out is to read Deception. All I can tell you, you will be Aleatha’d with her wicked, sinful, and seductive prose that has a way of spellbinding readers to be fully invested with her characters. Trust me, you will need to hold on tight because that ending has me on edge and begging for more.
