Fatal Beauty by Nazarea Andrews was one of those books that had a whirlwind of deceit, sex, murder, backstabbing, and suspense. The book opens up with an intriguing beginning that instantly hooked me but as I continued to read further into the story, the story line and characters were beginning to lose my interest. Simply this book was pack with so much craziness that at times I was thinking to myself what the hell is going on. As far as characters, I did not so much connect with Charlotte as I did with EJ since I felt EJ carried much of the book and was far more intriguing. EJ was the push for me to continuing on with the book. Basically, this book centers on Charlotte and EJ and the dynamics of their friendship. So when Charlotte commits a crime and needs to get rid of a body, she only has person whom she could call to help her get away and that was her friend, EJ. Will these ladies be able to get away from the crime as they dispose of the body? And what will happen to the dynamics of their friendship when jealousy and lust begins to take place when they involved Anthony Jacobs, a dangerous wealthy man of New Orleans? Overall, if you are looking for a book that takes friendship to a whole new level and is filled with twist and turns then go give this book a try.
