A dark, thrilling, intoxicating and provocative romantic suspense that pushes boundaries of right and wrong, life and death, truth and lies. The title of this book aptly represents everything what Skye Warren & Annika Martin intended and that is to be held hostage. And yes, I was held hostage from the first page til the very end.
Hostage is not your typical romance but instead it is a story that grips you of the dark reality of life. And for some, vengeance might be the sole reason for living.

With their sensual and sinful writing, Warren & Martin takes their readers down the proverbial rabbit hole where duplicity, suspense, sexual tension and raw emotions are the forefront as to why this book kept me riveted. So if you are looking for a story where lust, lies, secrets, and revenge collide to give you an unforgettable and palpable story then I highly recommend you to read this book.
