“Everything was suspended. Time. Pleasure. Pain. It was like the entire world held itself in waiting. For her.”
Emotional. Raw. Poignant. Heartfelt. These are a few words that comes to mind when describing The Truth About Him by M. O'Keefe. Ms. O'Keefe has once again had me devouring this second installment as she spellbinds and lures her readers into an emotionally charged second chance romance. With her gorgeous and heartfelt prose, Ms. O'Keefe has readers like myself fully invested into the complicated love story of Dylan and Annie.

“Sometimes, maybe we don’t know exactly what we have until someone shows us.”
In The Truth About Him, the story of Dylan and Annie continues and picks off where it last left off in Everything I Left Unsaid. The relationship of Dylan and Annie can only be described as raw, intense, passionate, and complicated. So many secrets and truths of their past has yet to be revealed. Their emotional burdens keeps them from being truly honest with one another. And in this second installment, both Dylan and Annie must come into terms of their relationship of how far are they willing to let one in emotionally, physically and sexually. As the revelation of Dylan's past comes to surface, are they willing to fight for their love? Can love and forgiveness heal a broken heart and shattered past?

“The mess of me all over the beauty of her.”
The Truth About Him had everything I wanted, expected and much more in the continuation of Dylan and Annie. I loved how the author was able to douse her readers with raw emotions allowing us to feel for their strong tangible and palpable connections. Your heart will ache, swoon, and be moved as we delved deeper into their past. While in Everything I Left Unsaid was mainly focused on Annie, The Truth About Him was more focused on Dylan. I loved the way M. O'Keefe stripped her characters raw, allowing readers to really see their vulnerable sides while weaving mystery, suspense, erotica, and romance into the storyline. Overall, I loved the conclusion of the story of David and Annie. M. O'Keefe was able to maintain a sexy storyline while keeping it emotionally charged, raw, and heartfelt. So yes, I would highly recommend readers to read Everything I Left Unsaid and The Truth About Him. Both books are highly addictive and will leave readers yearning for more of M. O'Keefe's books.
