The much awaited conclusion of The Retrieval Duet is finally here. It’s no secret that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Transfer and Aly Martinez was well aware of this. And let me just say Aly didn’t just give her readers a great conclusion, she delivered a phenomenal read that concludes the one story of two couples.

In Retrieval, readers were introduced to Roman Leblanc and Elisabeth and their emotional journey of getting back to that love that united them. Their loss, happiness, love were all intertwined with another woman’s story. And in so in Transfer readers will finally get to hear Claire’s journey. Her story of pain, loss, disappointment, and her survival from a marriage that was built on lies and bruises. I know that I am being vague in this review of what happens and that is because I cannot fully explain the story without giving away spoilers. All I can tell you is that Aly Martinez delivered an impeccable original story that was breathtaking, heartbreaking, touching, poignant and visceral. This conclusion of this duet was a culmination of heart, beauty, survival, second chances and hope. I want to thank and applaud Aly Martinez for writing a story that brings forth the awareness of how fertility problems can affect a marriage and also awareness that domestic violence is something that cannot be swept under the rug.
So if you are looking for a romantic suspense that weaves heart, hope, love, forgiveness, and new beginnings then I highly recommend you to read The Retrieval Duet. Aly Martinez will not disappoint you. Transfer your trust in her because this is one story that will forever be etched into your heart.
