Almost raped.
Almost normal..
Almost have a real boyfriend…
Almost, but not quite….

That is Jess Jordan’s life. She had been suffering from PTSD, after almost being raped at a party during her freshman year. Now 3 years later, she still hasn’t gotten any better. She wants to go to college and move with her life, but without showing some kind of normal with her parents' there was no way that was going to happen. While waiting for her 2nd interview for a paid intern job with Gray, she thought of an idiotic plan that made so much sense to her. Maybe crazy to some people, but to her it made all the sense in the world. She wrote up a contract that both she and Gray agreed on. She gets a fake boyfriend that will help her seem normal in her parents eyes and Gray gets to have a $8000 paycheck. At that time it seemed like a great idea, until she fell in love with him.

 photo Almost-Teaser1.jpg

If I were Jess, I would have done the same. Gray was a great guy, he was better than a Book Boyfriend will ever be…which is something Jess found out being around Gray. Gray was not the person she thought he was. He wasn’t a jerk, a player, or full of himself. Gray was so much more and everyday they were together, it became harder and harder for her to keep her feelings in check. Same goes with Gray. Love was in the air for these two. But will the secrets tear them apart? Or will they forgive each other from their mistakes? Read and find out.

 photo Almost-Teaser2.jpg

This book is sweet and innocent, but deals with a very serious issue. Having Gray around made what Jess was going through a lot easier. He made her feel normal, he made her feel cared for and loved. These two may be young, but they were both wise beyond their years. Another satisfying story of Anne Eliot, thanks for sharing with me.

Without a doubt, I absolutely adore Ginger Scott and her books. Ginger has a magical way of making your heart's race and giving you all the warm fuzzies. When a book can capture your heart right off the opening pages, then you know this book will bring out all the FEELS. And that's what Ginger had managed to do in Wild Reckless.

Be still my beating heart because I am wildly and recklessly in love with Owen Harper and Kensington Worth. Wild Reckless is unlike any typical young adult romance because this book is on another whole category of awesome. This is not your typical bad boy falling in love with the good girl next door neighbor. Nope, this book is so much more. Yes, you can say Owen Harper can be your classified dangerous bad boy but he is not. Owen Harper is a young man who is wise beyond his years and has a heart of gold. He is just a young man who is misunderstood and judged by his peers and small town folks. But what truly lies behind the tough rugged exterior, is a boy who has dedicated his whole life for his family. A young man who has always put them first before his own NEEDS, WANTS, DESIRES, and DREAMS.

New city. New school. New friends. New home. When you are a young teenager, relocating from city life to small town life, these new changes can be unsettling especially for Kensington Worth since she was leaving her old piano tutor, friends and old life in Chicago. But what Kensington didn't expect was to fall wild and recklessly in love with the boy next door, Owen Harper. From the first moment these two laid eyes on each other, it was an inevitably for these two not to fall into each other's arm. If you were to look at Kensington's family life, she would be considered the girl who had it all but behind the close doors, nothing was perfect as it seemed. The facade was shattered when unsettling and disturbing news destroyed her family. With feelings of hurt and anger, Kensington found solace and comfort in Owen. What started as two strangers passing by each other blossomed into friendship and eventually romance. They say love can make you do wild and crazy things, and have you falling. But the fall is worth the risk when you have someone to catch you. And be prepared to have your hearts stolen by Owen Harper. And if you happen to fall in love, love recklessly.

Wild Reckless is a young adult book that was done perfectly. It had all the elements of what you craved in a book that will touch your heart. This book was so gripping that every emotion evoked will pull on all the heart strings and leave you feeling raw and vulnerable. What I truly love about this book was the love, loyalty, and devotion of a young man had for his family. The sacrifices that Owen Harper had to endure for his family is what makes him the kind of book boyfriend that will make your hearts flutter and swoon. Ginger Scott did another amazing job in weaving a book that had so much depth of romance and real life problems. She didn't sugarcoat anything but allows her readers to really feel the emotional vulnerability of her characters. All I can say is go read Wild Reckless and remember to live humbly and love recklessly.

“Everybody is going to know you are mind and I am yours.” -Owen

Wild Reckless is one of those books that deserves more than 5 stars. This book is amazingly beautiful, that kept me up all night. I couldn’t put this book down for the life of me, I was up until the wee hours reading this book and I couldn’t sleep until I was finished. The character development in this book was flawless and the way the story flowed was perfect. I know there’s no such thing as perfect, but this book sure felt like it was.

The story started with Kensington moving into the neighborhood and the first time she unofficially met her douche of a neighbor Owen consumed with his game of basketball, Kensington knew he was trouble, but she saw something in those eyes. He intrigues her and she knew one day that boy will consume all of her. All the things she’d heard about Owen, only kept her curious. She knew there had to be reason Owen was the way he was. That one night when her world came crushing down on her, she was on the front seat of OWEN’s roller coaster ride. Little by little Owen let her see parts of himself, shared part of himself and Kensington fell for him more and more. She was falling for Owen fast, that he started to consume every bit of her. Instead of getting scared, it only excited her.

“But I have never wanted to feel what it’s like to be inside someone more than I do right now. To feel someone I love. F**k, Kensi, I want to touch all of you.” -Owen

Yes Owen was a lot of things, but he is not what everyone painted him out to be. Owen started to become her world and she couldn’t breath without him. And with all the things Owen was going through, she knew she was the only thing that was keeping Owen a float.

Will she be strong enough for both Owen and herself, to survive the crazy life they have?
Or will Kensington run away scared from the crazy Harper boys? Read and find out.

 photo WildR-Teaser2.jpg

Did I say I love this book? Because I do. I am in major book hangover. I love how Kensington and Owen become each other everything, they kept each other strong. They were the each other’s rock, without the other, one or both would drown.

☆☆☆☆ 5 Sweetest Stars ☆☆☆☆

“Can A Rock Star Ever Be Normal?”

Well, this is the life of Hunter Kennedy where as a rock star with trouble, tried to live a normal life to try to balance himself. After an accident and pranks gone bad, he was forced to hide out in a small-town in Colorado. His mom thought the best thing for him was to be away from the life of a rockstar. But hiding out for him didn’t just mean hide out and relax, his mom set him up with a family to help him out. To live a life as a normal teenager going to high school and his best help was a girl name Vere. Vere is a simple girl, who dresses the way she wants and does what she wants. She doesn’t go with the crowd, doesn’t care if she’s all up with the latest trend. The first time they met, Hunter couldn’t keep his eyes of her, of course Vere being clueless didn’t notice his interest at all. Their friendship became easy for both of them, they shared things with each other they thought they would never tell a soul. Vere who usually very awkward around guys, was comfortable around Hunter. As for Hunter, he never felt more real and himself around anyone before ..until Vere became part of his life.

As time passes Hunter’s feelings for Vere became stronger and he didn’t know what to do. With Vere’s crush Curtis starting to noticed Vere, what will Hunter do? Will he ever tell Vere how much he cares for her? Or will he just let Vere go and maybe have her happiness with Curtis that she have been hoping for? Read and find out. I promise you this book is a really great read.

Unmaking Hunter Kennedy is one of the sweetest, dorkiest, funny book I’ve read. Keep in mind this is a YA book, so there are no hanky panky. LOL.

Before I read this book I read a book that completely broke my heart and gutted me, so I was a mess. But right when I started reading about Hunter’s story, my mood had started to change immediately. The cute and funny Hunter and Vere had completely turned my mood upside down. The book made me feel like a teenager again, hoping to find that love to last me a lifetime. Hunter and Vere are way too cute, for me not to love. Thx for sharing your book with me Mrs Anne Eliot, you are awesome.
