Alexis Wyndham is the Queen Bitch at Eastline High School, aka “the level of hell Dante missed.” She built up her reputation by exposing the wrongdoings of other students and/or faculty on her blog. She is a senior now, and everyone is intimidated by her; they stay away from her if they see her on campus, and no one even sits next to her in class. She’s very content with the way things are, and even has two best friends, Richard and Morgan. They were the only people that put up with her bitchiness and still liked her, until Brett Pederson came along. One day in health class, the teacher assigned the dreaded “baby assignment” where students had to learn how much work it was to take care an infant, and Alexis was teamed up with Brett. Alexis realizes there is more to the star football player, and soon finds herself falling for him. The story revolves around the romance of them, and the side issues are not as focused on as their romance. Brett helps Alexis with the mystery of the X-rated videos of the girls locker room, but we don’t get to meet the person or know why the principal and Brett acted the way the did when they found out who it was.

I loved Alexis and Brett. Alexis is such a bitch, but in the most snarkiest, intelligent, and hilarious way. Brett is so charming and lovable; a true golden boy. Every character added their own element to the story, and the only character that didn’t seem really necessary to me was the culprit of the X-rated videos, but maybe it will be explained in the sequel; if ever there will be one. Overall, this was a very enjoyable and easy read with witty humor, extraordinary characters, and steamy romantic tension. I just wish the story it was longer!!!
